Ollalie Mack really impressed me with this nice clump of blooms. :)
Garden Photos # 18
This is one of my favorites even though it's been really slow to get going for me. This plant is still barely the width of a gallon container and the only one that remains from the original 3 plants I planted in this bed. I also planted 3 gallon plants in another area and have to small pieces that returned this year. I wish they were more vigorous! Hardy Plumbago
Last one for now... Salvia azurea :) A good true blue, late bloomer but quite floppy for me.
Am I the only one that has a hard time loading pictures on DG now? Every other time I try, it doesn't go through and I have to start over... Plus they take forever to load. Maybe my computer is just getting too old now?
love the blues!
Congrats Marilyn.
Lovely photos Meredith
Nice Meredith! I love the blues too! :)
Thanks! :)
Love the blooms. I've found it takes longer to load photos even to memory and I have a brand new computer. We've been blaming RCN or the internet because of all the traffic on it.
Very pretty blooms, Meredith...I also have salvia azurea...it's about 4' tall & I always have to stake it...love that hardy glad!
shocked to see the hummers still here.. was going to start putting the feeders away.. guess not
pics from today.. and just realized the critters ate my asters.. ggggrrr.. amazing how much damage they did this year

Immature hummers tend to linger....leave the feeders.....the video was blocked....

Perfect....you are the 'Queen of Coleus' Allison! Love those caladiums.....
thanks RD
;)
Beautiful Allison! Robin is right, your the coleus queen, they are just lovely! OH, and that dahlia in the begining is drool worthy!!!
that dahlia was from the plugs from that ebay guy
Whooa Jo! Thats alot of compost. :)
Nice dahlia, do you remember his name for next year? ^_^
I got mart and hired a guy to clean and weed the garden and spread the compost.
I figure what I am not spending on plants, now that the gardens are pretty much planted, can go towards heavy help.
hhmm nope.. and we tossed the old tray before the hurricane.. this is all I have in my diary 60 MIXED Petunia Cascade, Dahlia, Lantana Live Flower
Go to your ebay page and look under things boughtin the last 6 month...it should tell you.
I did... just said that description too... guess I should have saved the tags... oopsie .. was going to dig some of the tubers anyway.. should have formed by now I think
That's a real compost pile, Jo. I haven't found anyone who sells any in bulk around here that I'd want to buy, though there are farms that sell their cow manure.
Nice looking compost! Just what my gardens need!
Rent a truck?
Nice Jen! Which caryoptersis is that?
