Cheryl, which one are you wanting to find?

Arlington, TX

Red Huricane lilies or is that what they are called? I know they are bulbs.

are those Scarlet Beans?
if yes, do you eat the pods or they are just ornamentals?

Irving, TX(Zone 8a)

I have Ox Blood Lilies.
I need to divide them ... because they are so pretty and they are growing in a area that doesn't get much water either .... so they must be really hardy for my zone 8a

Ok, this is by far the most spectacular thing that bloomed in my life this summer. My first grandchild (EJ).

That is a beautiful grandbaby you have there, Congratulations!!!

Handsome little "flower" you have blooming there, Cheryl! Congratulations!

The lilies are called Oxblood lilies, hurricane lilies, or schoolhouse lilies. I got mine from a lady in Houston in a swap, but I know that Southern Bulb sells them as does Old House Gardens. IIRC, I planted them in June and had blooms the first year.

Linden, TX(Zone 8a)

I found this blooming at the Daingerfield State Park. I have seen it in other places here in Northeast Texas. It bleeds a white sap like a milkweed but is not. Can anyone ID?

A close up of the little flower. When in seed, it has a triangular shaped nut sack of three.

I think it is a type of Euphorbia but don't know which one, don't have time to research right now, maybe later.

Linden, TX(Zone 8a)

Thank you. It is Euphorbia corollata, Flowering spurge. It is native to almost 40 of our 50 states.

The passion vine is still blooming away! I now have lots of little fruits on it, too. I've so enjoyed watching this bloom.
