Suggestion to plant files - alerts

I have no idea if this would be a good suggestion or not, but I think it would be neat if those of us who are looking to trade certain plants, or who are looking for certain plants, could put a "watch" on the tradelist of the file.
So say, if I was watching the "want" for this file, if someone new popped up who wanted this plant, it would send me an alert, and I could check out their tradelist.
OR
if i was looking for a particular plant, and there was noone to trade with currently, i could watch the "have" for this file, and if someone popped in who had it, it would send me an alert, and I could contact them =).

Don't know if it's possible, but what do you think?

I think it is a good idea - and I have no idea how difficult it would be to program it, but I can check!
