Pelle assures me that it's fine to start the new thread now, but maybe I'll just fill this one up a bit more. Here's another go at the juvi Great Crested Flycatcher.

Another of the Great Kiskadee. Can sort of see the eyeball in this one. If only he had perched with the sun on his beautiful breast. That tail is stunning reddish color too.

Resident downy wp getting a drink from the feeder. They sure love that nectar!

Thanks, I was sitting outside when I took that one, I was checking out my flowers and heard this humming close to my ear, it was a female hummer checking ME out! Then she went up to the big feeder and got a drink, they love to fly around our heads and look us over.

I thought maybe it was an Ohio bird thing, lol

So the downy is able to drink through those little holes? You didn't have to adapt the feeder at all? That's so cool!

No, did not have to do anything to it, and boy do they love it.

The Hummingbirds are getting interested in the Morning Glory vines, maybe that means they are going to bloom pretty soon.

Might mean that they are buggy. Hummers eat bugs too.

I guess that might be the case.

We were outside enjoying the cooler weather, and my hubby told me to freeze, there was a hummer flying around me, then she went over to the Geraniums and was just having a ball checking everything out. I guess they have figured out we are not going to hurt them and they are getting braver. That is ok, I love them so much.
