Garden Photos # 14
Yes Victor, you called?
love the tavern Jen!!.. you guys have so many pretty blooms!!.. thank you RD.. maybe it is a sunflower.. I might have stuck some seeds in there and don't remember .. the chipmunks ravaged so many of my other seeds I am surprised one made it
I was thinking sunflower too:)
thanks.. hope so!!
oh I was overjoyed before.. there were 4 hummers on my deck at once.. no one was fighting so I am guessing family.. and had an extreme close up while video taping one.. got right up in front of me .. checking me out
NICE!
been so enjoyable watching them
White daylily 'Royal Frosting' is in bloom. got it with a trade, something I don't usually do.

I agree!! They love your place!!!!!
soj i thought you were going to weed all afternoon? nice collection of dl's :)
love the tweeting little bitty birds!!
Ha Ha! I did weed some, but you know the saying 'nature abhors a vacuum'? Well, as I weeded, I decided that DLs would look really nice in the bare spots where the weeds were :)
Cool!! I was watching one at my honeysuckle today.
nice!!
Yes, that honeysuckle - Manifich - is right outside the LR window.
placement is good!!
Guess I'm going to have to find Nymph...gorgeous lily! Iris, no photos of Royal Frosting? Allison, don't those little guys zip around? Not one has showed up here!
It is white or whitish. I don't have a photo either It is new for us.
I googled it.....it's very pretty!
yes RD they do zip around.. buzz me sometimes when I am in the way.. yell at me.. LOL
well I got home from work and I saw one of our lawn decorations (yorkie welcome sign) fell down with the heavy rain.. picked it up and saw a black swallowtail flopping around on the lawn.. of course stuck my finger out to see if it would hitch a ride.. and is now resting out of the rain on my deck under the awning .. hope the little one is ok
:(
Oh. I hope so, Allison!
strange how there feet feel... never had one walk on me before
guess the agastache was too bouncy... it moved over to my shiny shoes coleus
Wow! Lots of nice stuff. I've been slacking here, but busy, busy in my gardens. This is the busiest time for me. Looks like we need a new thread, though, so here we go: http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/1200176/

Allison....I have noo idea. :0 When I pull lily bulbs up...I hope I get the color im going for but sometimes I don't. ^_^
Nice shot of your buddy and the roses are lovely. As for your lily, I don't think it's a virus...but i'd keep my eye on it. The foliage looks good, not streaked so I susapect it might be a fluke bloom or the weather may have affected it.
thanks!!
Pretty plants!
sorry I slacked and posted em in the wrong thread.. been a bad week
