pretty!!

Not the best picture but you can see all three of the butterflies visiting the Monarda in it. It is kinda a hard spot to get close to them, so I had to use zoom which ruins my cameras sharpness.

Funny you should post those butterfly shots w/hole in the wings. I just saw this guy today and wondered what ate it's wings. Never even dawned on me it might be birds!! Duh!

Meredith, missed you on Saturday!
Great pics.

These aren't martagons, but usually called 'species' lilies. I call them "Twinkle Lilies", they point out or hang downwards so they remind me of stars twinkling in the night sky.

#1 Clump of white twinkle.

I think alot are named differently but look alike.

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

Thats why I keep photo records. It would be possible to have hundreds of lilies that all looked alike if we only ordered by name.

This is "My Jo Ann'

Bright enough for you? Not to mention just a little funky!

This is actually a very beautiful pink DL...this is what it normally looks like. Every once in a while a DL will do this they call it a poly.(polly?)
