Thanks to everyone who posted in the last thread and we look forward to seeing lots more in this one.

I've not got any new shots to begin this thread with so have plunged into the archives. First, a male Blue-billed Duck in breeding colours.
Daily Bird Pics #408
Wonderful shots Margaret! The ducks are so cute and I love the Woodswallow!
Thanks for starting the new thread!
Great shots Margaret.
Ha. that Woodswallow has got that look! "what are YOU looking at"
Thanks for the great start, Margaret. One of the second brood mockingbird babies is MIA. The nest is crowded, suspect he got pushed out, but I searched for him and have watched the parents to see if they are feeding it. No luck. The other three are growing fast.
We are leaving for Santa Fe for a couple of weeks, so these guys will be gone when we get back. I'll see if I can get some pics of western birds while we are gone.
Great start Margaret! Love that Blue-billed Duck!
Lily... great shot of the GBH trying to be part of the decor! He fits in so nicely!
Nanny... great shot of the fledgling! I always love babies!
Resin... "cool" shot of the BB sunning and chillin'!
reddirtretiree... such cute baby Mocks!
Hope everyone has a great weekend! I am now on vacation! Woo-hoooo!!!
Great photos on the last thread everyone!
Thank you Margaret for the new start. Love your photos.
Great shots everyone! VA Wild Rose, enjoy your vacation.
I'm trying to catch up, but I always seem to get further behind with my photos. I'll start off with one of our bald eagles that flew past as we were having lunch.
Nice flight shots duc!
Love the Blackbird Resin!
So glad you still see Nuthatch nanny!
Great pics everyone!
Margaret , great start with the ducks. Thanks for switching us over to the new thread.
Red have a nice trip and hope you have some pictures to share.
Beautiful shot of the Blackbird sunning. Resin.
WR, whatever you do on your vacation, have fun.
Nanny, more Starlings and Grackles.........I love the little Nuthatch. Ooops, I think, the nice comment you've made goes to Duc ,on the Cooper's Hawk. ;)
Duc, you have such a great variety of birds, going by you everyday.
A Chipping Sparrow enjoying some seeds.
Lovely shots burn!
Oops...your right burn...I fixed that! But nice one of PF! lol
Great pics guys!
Nan and Wild Rose, babies galore! I love each and everyone of them juvies! W. Rose, the GBH does plend in nicely with my driftwood decor. lol
Teddy, I hope you see this. I saw your question on the previous thread. I have a cement bird bath right on the ground and we have Robins, Cardinals and even a Common Yellowthroat use it. Possibly others, but I haven't noticed. It's not in a great spot for watching from the window. My only concern about a trash can lid is the little birds not getting a foothold when they are in the water. Will you be putting stones in the bottom?
It's been so hot here, I've had to turn on the sprinkler for our ducks as they try to get into the cement bird bath when we have them loose. It is so sad to see them panting in the heat.
I need to get my newest pictures on the 'puter. You all have some great ones. The Purple Finch's hair-raising is funny. I just love the birds' unique behaviours.
Love the Titmouse duc!
