Lavender Beauty
Morning Glories 2011 #09
Debra - Those beautiful blooms were well worth the wait! I love the one from Jackie and the kikyo that reminds me of Karen2005's blooms! Your waterlilies look pretty good in that one photo. Are you still fertilizing them? They may need more fertilizer pellets if they aren't getting very big. Mine are quite large and blooming like crazy. Mine are also in full sun all day long.
Jackie - Lavender Beauty is a beauty! Thanks for starting a new thread. :-)
Gorgeous blooms Becky. Love the Aomoraski, a striking bloom. Your Saz is
almost the same color as your blue eyes. Very pretty eyes.
Jackie - Thank you! My eyes are hazel, but often reflect the color from my surroundings. In the photo, the blue probably came from the sky! LOL! Or perhaps the very bloom I was photographing! ;-) I am so partial to the speckled blooms. I really love the Blue Speckles. Especially the ones on this new vine. Larger blooms than the previous generation. :-)
Debra - The Purple Flaked I. purpurea is my favorite I. purpurea whether it be in full petal form or in hige/split form. I love your PF hige bloom! So sorry to hear about the heat wave affecting you! I hope you get some much needed rain in the immediate future!
Helena - Good to see you back! We missed all your gorgeous blooms! Looks like your dh took excellent care of your vines while you were gone! :-)
I love the Tsukiyono, Antoinettes Rose Silk x Fuji Shibori cross, and the Pink Star x choco mix cross! WOW!!!! And the others aren't too shabby either! You rock this season, Helena! I should've grown more MGs outdoors this year. Next year for sure! Rust fungus, bugs, and what not ... so worth it for even a few blooms and seeds! :-)
Cute little Hige Debra
Helena, we are so glad you're back. Hope you had a great visit.
Love your beautiful blooms. The Fuji no Monet not is lovely in its own right. It's
actually Purple Fuji .
I love the colors on your Blue Tie Dye, Gorgeous Pink Star x Choco mix
The Tsujiyono is really special and A's Rose Silk x Fuji Shibori is very pretty.
My sd of that cross didn't take but still a nice bloom.
Jackie - Pretty solid pink bloom. I love the variation of blooms you are getting on your Akatsuki no Mai! Love vines that produce unique flowers with each bloom! Really lovely!
Jackie, stunning blooms. I am glad you have them. ;)
Thanks Becky and Debra. LOL Debra, yes me too. Still waiting on tons of others. Hope yours
start blooming soon. I think many of us are having to wait due to the 20 degree drop we had in temps back in May. We went from highs in the 90's to the 70's and it lasted for over 2 weeks. I think it shocked my
Morning glories.
Thanks Helena. Love all your pinks. The Choco Mix has produced some great blooms for you.
The pink star bloom is one of my favorites..
adinamiti, pretty blooms
I like your bloom Debra
