Not much, Celeste. But enough to get by. Took three years in HS.

I had a hard time in HS because I was raised on Canadian french and thats not what they were speaking . LOL

Yes, it does sound different.

Also 3 years of French in HS....must have sounded funny to the Parisians, but somehow managed to get my message across!

One of the only real downers about Quebec is that they follow the European way and everyone smokes!! Was really gross. They allow it in many more places than here.

It really is. New Orleans is also a photographer's dream but has a few streets even adults would be offended to walk down and far too vile for your boys (or anyone's children!).

spotted this dahlia nursery in the travel magazine - they had 2000 dahlia plants in there back yard!! it is called endless summer flower farm in camden, me and they sell over the internet.

this was pretty cool almost a mile of huge granite blocks going out to a lighthouse in rockport

this was the view from the home we rented

some nice rock coast line

on the way home we stopped at the coastal maine botanical gardens - i will be making a few of these
