Great Olaf! Mother's Lipstick is outstanding.

Thanks Lynn! It's an older variety. Pretty tall but with a very sturdy stem. Doesn't flop over easily. :)

Hi folks,

I thought I would get a picture up of one of my favorite violets which is flowering this month. It is 'Champagne Taste' and has flowers fully 2 inches across.

Frederick, MD(Zone 7a)

Lovin' everyone's lovely gessie blooms for July. Working on plants today and decided to take a few photos of what's blooming now.
First in streptocarpus 'Spin Art'. I never tire of these vibrant fantasy blossoms.
My house lost AC for a few days and the temps got into the 90's inside...whew! I was sure the streps were gonners but cooler air and they revived and look now like nothing ever happened to them. So resilient fortunately.

Strep 'Party Pinafore' is a David Thompson beauty. I would love to know if it has 'Sylvia' in it's parentage.

Heidi, what beautiful plants. I love them all. I wish I knew the trick to growing Streps. I've killed all that I received in trades from an old member, GessieGail, a few years back. She sent me a dozen leaves, with instructions. I think now that I may have overwatered them. They started off as nice little plantlets, then took a nose dive. Your other gessies are also georgeous.. You have a green, green, thumb. Great growing!!!
