ROBINDOG, I am going to give it a try as I have so many. I will plant them on the south side next to the greenhouse glass. We shall see.

I just downloaded all the shots from today. Thank goodness that we have escaped the dreaded red lily beetles. I made a bunch of collages. Here is the first of them, lilies. Patti

that path is just outstanding Patti

Last one. Off to bed early as I have a ton to do in the morning before DH's seriously serious gardening Aunt and a herd of other people are coming to take a walk through the garden. She is about 90, but sharper then I ever hoped to be. She always seems to enjoy our garden. She always asks me some tough questions, not to be mean, but she is just so inquisitive. Patti

Onewish1, thanks, but I need to weed it in the early am as that is the last stretch that I have yet to do. Patti

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Yes - gorgeous, Patti! Love that path shot. Can you post it by itself?

Nantucket, MA(Zone 7a)

Oh, I just remembered that I have to also weed whack down the last of the Narcissus out on the edges of the yard and move a couple hundred pounds of potting soil, moo doo and peat off the back terrace to the shed. I should say DH and I, but maybe mostly he will do this work. It is amazing how weeding the walks makes such a difference to the look. I wish she could come during the Iris phase, but she will like seeing the lilies. Grass needs mowing, but that isn't happening. Patti

incrediball hydrangea just starting with a herd of echi's getting ready in front - had filled the open spots of this bed with four different sunflowers - the squirrels thought better of that idea and ate them all!! will try just planting seeds and see what makes it.

Victor, now I need to see a 2011 photo of your pond soon.

flowAjen, that is a nice one, hope I have some new kids out today and no new weeds. Pipe dream.

Onewish1, I have one puny one, that one is a dream.

Wha, I have found a couple that didn't make it, even with all our rain. Nice Hosta.and Hydrangea. Can't believe that squirrels ate the sunflowers before they set seed. Fools.

Ge1836, I can "Bear" to see yours anytime I can too. He is so cool among your beautiful collection of plants. Out to weed that path. Nice day for visitors. Here are some containers on the porch. Are you visiting the Island this summer? Patti

the sunflowers i started indoors and planted, even staked a container with coyote pee, to scare them away.

Geez, go MIA for a little bit and WOWZER! Beautiful pictures everyone!! I'm especially enjoying the lily pictures. :)

Patti, your composites are all exquisite with great views. Your Little Yellow Kiss reminds me of my Fata Morgana. I love those double petals.

I was away for 4 days and came back to see the double petaled lilies in full array.

This is elodie, and she seems to like her spot in my garden. This is the third year covered with blooms. Those inner petals do some interesting contortions.
