I spent the lovliest afternoon at GF's open studio and garden event.
She has whimsical taste and has mostly shade. Her event is to show her latest pottery and blooming garden.

It has been a really slow start to the growing season here, but I finally have something that looks worthy for posting: Clematis 'Crystal Fountain'. My irises mostly failed this year--trouble with rotting blossoms, very disappointing.

Allison, I see your 'White Pixel' has multiple blooms....I love that little lily because of that very reason. Nice hydrangeas and delphs! 'Pleasant Starburst' is really nice and great capture of the 'wishbone' inside the blue/purple Torenia!!

LOL Nope, mine! The really great part is this was supposed to be one called Anastasia but when it bloomed it was not. It was a new release that I got before most of the public. :) This is it's third year and I just measured it tonight...8' 5" and the buds have just popped out. The name of it is 'Elusive'.....
