I may not be there until 12:30 -1:00 we had a power surge this morning, it delayed me baking the pies. We had planned to leave by 8 but will be leaving an hour later now. It's all Bill's fault! :)
Food Thread for DonnieBrook's July 16 RU
why is it always my fault:)
You wanted homemade crust...took me longer than ususal. LOL
Well, it was worth it. Thanks, Bill! lol All's well that ends well, and it was a really good time! Thanks to you all for all the good food and great company! Such a fun group!
Thank you for having us Hank & Louise! ^_^
We had a good time and I do apologize to eveyone for being so late!! :(

thank you Louise & Hank.. I had a great time today.. wish we could get together more often!!
yes a great time with the best dg host's
Thanks for a great time Louise. You and Hank were great hosts and Bonnie and I enjoyed meeting everyone. Sorry we had to leave early. We did notice "Bill's Rock" as we departed. :)
Thank you, Louise and Hank for a wonderful day!
The "thanks" goes to all of you for coming and sharing so much of yourselves and your plants and wonderful dishes (loved the weeds, Memory! lol), not to mention the wonderful birthday gifts and beautiful cake. I know that we all really enjoyed meeting Frank and Bonnie for the first time and hope to see them more in the future. We are so touched that some of you drove such long distances, and we agree with Allison, that it would be great to be able to spend time together more often!!
Now, I have to do what the rest of you have to do.......GET OUTSIDE AND PLANT NEW BABIES!!! LOL
Got in about an hour ago, took scenic route home also by the way of Allison's house.
Thanks all for a great time!!! Always great meeting new DGr's and seeing old friends again.
Glad to know you made it home safely, Jen!! That little Maddison was such a little sweetheart! Hank was saying how good she was. We really enjoyed her and Karen too. So glad you got to come. We always enjoy seeing you!!
^_^
Who is this Karen I hear you guys talking about? Did I miss out on meeting a friend of Jen's with my name?
Karen
Jen's sister-in-law, tall brunette with hat on and turquoise jewelry. :)

Home today....495 was unspeakable! Must find a better way to come home....the RU was wonderful!!!
495 unspeakable? - i travel that everyday to work where was there a problem?
From 10-10:30 solid lanes of traffic...mostly trucks....paving, & leaving uneven lanes, 2 idiots racing on either side of me, too many entrances & exits....by the time I got onto 290, I was a wreck....the rest of the trip was fine....oh, except for Hartford, but I'm used to that.....
