Great shots everyone!

Red, Love the Eurasian Collared Dove! They have one in Cape May right now.

Duc, So glad you posted the deer with her doe! Sweet pics!

Nanny, Love the juvie Downy Woodpecker! I've been seeing mine too along with the Red-bellied juveniles.

South Hamilton, MA

Male Baltimore oriole was working over the flowers on the tulip popular this morning. I thought that they weren't coming this year.

Iris, glad you're enjoying the orioles too.

I certainly didn't need to watch television when these two bald eagles came past me yesterday. They were fighting over a fish and again I forgot to change to the video to record them.

By the time I was able to get them together in a photo, they were farther away than I wanted so this is a huge crop.

I felt sorry for this female tree swallow. She sat out on this branch all day in the 90 degree heat to defend a nest house that the sparrows keeping taking over. This is how she was trying to cool off while her mate sat further over and in the shade of our roof.

Nice action shots duc!

Great pics. Burn, Red, and Duc. I can see that one of the two Eagles is a mature one and a younger one. Perhaps Papa is teaching the young to hunt? And the mama Tree Swallow is just lovable.

Norman, OK

Enjoyed the pics, duc. You are fortunate to see eagles right from your home. Hot, kinda boring around here. I'm obligated for a July 4 family deal in TX and then I'm thinking mountains and some different birds. Maybe Santa Fe for a couple of weeks.

This is one of the juvie mockers. It fledged 10 days ago, but they are still weak flyers. They continue to hang close to the house, this one is in my shade bed on a red dirt rock. I have lots of those. Taken in the shade.

Great oriole pics, ducbukin! Have been feeding the group visiting here all summer. Have gone through quite a few jars of jelly! But they are fun to watch.

Lesser goldfinch on the cosmos. Their second favorite seed. (Nyger is their fave.)
