I need to find a thread I started in the PTI forum. I need to post a pic for further ID attempts. I've tried putting my name in the search field and it brings up some of my threads but not this one. Is there an easier way to do this or do I need an admin to do it?
How to find an old thread?
Go to "My Info" and scroll down to the "Actions" box. There you'll find an item titled "View the threads killdawabbit has started." Click on that, and all the threads you started will be listed.
Hope this helps.
Did you try the advanced search?
I've pulled up everything you've posted to in the Plant ID Forum: http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/search.php?st=Adv&forum=&q=&forum_ids[]=28&limit_poster=killdawabbit&dl=0&dl-rel=0&sort-type=0&sort-order=0&Search=Search+Forums
You can narrow it down if you want to search by date or a key word.
When you look at your own member page, you'll get a list of all of the posts you've ever made...that might be a ton of things to wade through if you're like me. When you look at someone else's member page, you'll see the list of threads they've started.
Got it. Thanks. I knew you could do that. It slipped my mind....doh!
:o)
Found it! :-D
Good deal!
Great!
i am having the same problem. there is an old thread on dg that i didn't start talking about brother labeling machines and the tz tapes. i have typed in brother and tz tapes without luck. any suggestions? and also when i type in those words i get articles and not threads.

Make sure you're searching from a forum page, and not the Home tab.
Here are some possible matches (I limited the search to the co-op forum): http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/search.php?st=Adv&forum=&q=Brother&forum_ids[]=217&limit_poster=&dl=0&dl-rel=0&sort-type=0&sort-order=0&Search=Search+Forums
