Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

I spent Thursday morning at an iris farm. It was too humid to plant then so yesterday I spent the morning planting 5 iris and 24 little plants from Bluestone.
No energy left for pgotos.
Today I will pix.

I was just thinking the same thing, PP is very pretty.
Victor, 'Sorbonne' is an oriental....you sure thats 'Sorbonne"? It looks like an Asiatic(which would be blooming now) called 'Fangio'

GE, which poppies are the more coral colored ones? I am trying to find poppies that color. I bought one that was labeled Princess Victoria Louise and it looked very pale pink here. No trace of salmon.

Thanks Allison. BB is an austin rose I guess a rambler since it is ten feet tall now and most of the blooms are up there and makes a good view from the upstairs window.

I'm not positive but I think the lighter is Queen Alex and the darker is Vic.Louise. I know I planted both.
The really corel ones in the background are Corel Reef.

Rama, I sympathize! I will have an empty nest next year, too, since I have triplets. Looking at the pretty pictures on the DG forums is some consolation to me and a break from duty, since in this year, it is a big effort to prepare those teenage critters for their journey. Here's Rosalie Figge iris from my garden this week.

O K .

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Yes, I was trying from memory, Celeste. I knew I do have Sorbonne and it's pink. It's not the one you mentioned. Never heard of that one.

Malvern, PA(Zone 6b)

Pretty Rosalie. I have a twelve year old mind you but the first born leaving our house does make me sad; As my mouthy dau pointed out he comes down stairs when he raids the fridge or for dinner but he is still more cuddly than her.
