2 alternate leaved dogwoods in bloom to the joy of DH who had dug them out of our woods some years ago & planted them in the garden.

Jen, I must be in the same microclimate zone. My neighbors have day lilies blooming for several days, mine was 1 bloom yesterday, their wisterias were done blooming when mine were in buds.

Oh, I do love that Blueberry phlox, too! And I have the grape Kool-ade iris also..... SOJ, that out of focus photo would make a good watercolor! Jo, the poppies look great....worth waiting for!
