We have a long thread here (with photos) about shrubs, trees and vines for birds. You might get a lot of information from it.

Daily Bird Pics. Vol. #403
Very nice! They are beautiful birds!
Cute Swallow pic adel!
Wonderful pics burn! Love the Cedar Waxwings in the ca tree. Nice catch on the Swallows.
Resin, thanks so much for telling me about my imm. eagle carrying so little nesting materials. I love learning new things about my birds.
Nanny, your robin and starling photos are so cute! Just like children arguing.
Rose, that beautiful flycatcher looks like it still has a baby mouth. How lucky that it came so close. Love your purple martin too.
Met, love the blackbird photo-wow. What an awesome find-that gnatcatcher nest is gorgeous.
Dee, you are so fortunate to have the waxwings nesting there.
Red, congrats on finding the beautiful cuckoo! Great shots of the kingbird and killdeer baby too.
Adel, great shots of the swallows. I've still got three pair nesting here too. Love them!
Burn, the waxwing/blooms are gorgeous! Loved all your pictures.
Lily, love your preening heron.
Our rain may be finally ending today, but the clouds are still keeping me inside. My poor birds look as miserable as I am. This is a younger Bullock's Oriole taking shelter on the deck.
That is so cute duc!
Those young birds are just so loveable Duc. It has been so hot down here, no rain-- we're sure can use some.
Wow I can't believe you get Crows in the yard nanny! Does that make the other birds scatter?
Margaret, what's a great action shots of the Crested Tern. The Corella too is very interesting. They both have 'Crests' like that of our Cardinal here in the U.S.
Stunning shots Margaret! Great series of the Tern and good catching of him casting!
Beautiful Corella pics too!
No pic, but twice this morning (while outside with the macro lens on the camera), a Tufted Titmouse came to the feeder. First time I have seen one.
