pouring... the dogs are freaking out
Weather in Your Garden # 98
no sooner than I clicked send... it was over.. LOL
81º now, much better than the 90 something yesterday at this time.
78, with 70% H.
The vine weeds are going nuts this year. Bittersweet and grapes are all over! Even wild honeysuckle, which I never had before.
rained again tonight.
Currently a chilly 63, was 90 yesterday, no rain even though predicted the past 2 days.
rain.... was not easy tossing out 7 yorkies out the door this morning.. LOL 67 now going to 72.. supposed to be a break in the rain this afternoon and then continues until tomorrow morning
Got 0.3 inch overnight. Dark overcast and 62 now. 93% H.
67°, wind from the East at 12 mph, H 75%, cloudy/overcast .
On the way to 70° today, showers in spots. Tonight's low 62°, thunderstorm very possible.
Starting to sprinkle.
mid 70's, the humidity is up and it looks like it wants to rain.
rained all day - still worked outside even through the steady hard rain
light rain/ mist here, 63°. A couple of downpours but they didn't last more than 5 min. Welcome relief and moisture here..
66º, misty today.
needed rain, but not 55° degree temp.
Just back from an idyllic week on Cape Cod and (almost hate to say it) we had the heat on in the cabin every night. It was warm on Wednesday but no rain until Thursday night and that was the only rain until today. The garden has grown by leaps and bounds and it's a pleasure to see.
59 and misty here now.
Welcome home, pirl! Hope you had a great time. Hit by the storms?
Humid, cool, misty and a little rain(nothing measureable) high was 73°
54° & raining. More of the same predicted for tomorrow.
Burrrr! It's 48 this morning and raining.....only going up to 55 today.
i am lovin the cool weather... was perfect sleeping last night.. 59 now going to 78.. more rain this morning and clearing out later... looks perfect Pirl.. hope you had a great time
Thanks, Allison. It was perfect.
Cool here and looks like more rain is coming. Good day to tackle a closet.
Looks like a very pretty and serene place Pirl, glad you had a nice time. :)
Thanks. It was serene. The lobster rolls were excellent, too!
Now thats a bonus!!
59°, wind from the NE at 13 mph, cloudy/ overcast.
Going up to 74° today, limited periods of sun, thunderstorms possible anytime today into the evening. Tonight's low 59°, with diminishing winds.
64 and very humid. Heavy overcast.
55° and drizzle. About an inch of rain overnight which was useful. Wrecked out peonies in front of the house, however.
lit the fire place last night and will do it again tonight - good day in the yard nice and cool - had a great fire in the fire pit to cap off the afternoon after listening to the red sox while moving the mulch.
Yes, but the watermelons and cantaloupe don't like 40 and 50 degree weather. :(
or the rest of the veggies
except the brocc., califl., lettuce and brussel sprouts.
70 degrees and damp here. We did finally get some rain, there was 3/4 inch in the rain gauge, but I was out digging around today and there were some places where the dirt was dry. The rain we got was a fine mist and if there were branches covering then the dirt was dry.
It was mostly pleasant working outside since there was very little sun and the temps were mild. I dug up things and potted them and then my husband informed me that he'd lost his wedding ring while working on the hill behind the house. I asked him to use the pick to break up the hard soil to get out the crown vetch that decided to colonize without my permission. Don't know how we're going to find the wedding band. It's a real mess up there.
Oh sorry for the lost wedding ring :-(
Was away for the weekend and came home to a very dry garden, was supposed to rain the past few days but have had none.
Bummer, candy.
Would a metal detector work?
Mostly cloudy all day high was 79° only .1" of rain
Been trying to lose mine for years.
