putting how many hits per day in the newsletter? Maybe just once the stats for a regular day? Just curious, I know I make about 1000 hits:)

tiG, yes, as a matter of fact, up until just a couple months ago I did print in the newsletter how many pageviews we had.

The problem was: counting up the pageviews for the previous day took a long time for the server to do, and it was resulting in seriously extra load times while the newsletter program was running. :(

I had to finally take it out. Sometime soon, however, I will be making some small changes that may allow me to put this in once again.
