Look, who decided to bloom today! :) I grow some of my Sinningia pusilla and other micro minis unenclosed. This one is on a wick under lights.

This is adorable, Melanie! So cute!
looks like a little prince. cute
really pretty,good job
Thanks so much! I really love this little guy. Just so that you know, he's in a 1 oz cup, and badly needs repotting.
And that precisely is what makes it so cute. Those tiny little leaves and flowers growing in that tiny little cup... :)
Those are some impressive photos, Olaf!
I just got an AV that I love--Skies of Italy. It's supposed to be challenging, anyone have any experience with it?
Thanks a lot!
I just looked at a picture of 'Skies Over Italy' and that's some nicely variegated foliage! Reminds a bit of a Chirita for some reason.
Very pretty pictures Olaf.Your smith seedling looks good, love the leaf coloring, are you growing it in pebbles?
Melanie.Your trailer is to cute ^_^
Jan
Thanks Jan!
The pebbles are just top dressing. :)
Great job Melanie!!
Beautiful plants Olaf!
Lynn
They are all beautiful! I couldn't have walked past the 'Flirt' either. What a great combo of foliage and bloom. Looks like a great hall. Lou
Thanks Lou!
The show was a lot of fun. So many Violets to look at, so little time. The selection of plans for sale was very nice - just not exactly my cup of tea. However, that also helped curb my compulsion... LOL
Rob's had a whole half of their booth full of blooming Kohleria starters. It was tough and I was sweating bullets but I succeeded in only buying one compact growing one.
I was surprised of myself to be buying a Violet but 'Rob's Love Bite' was just too cute to pass up. :)
This image may be anticlimatic, but it is a photo of a NOID AV in rebloom. When I bought it this winter at the supermarket, it was pretty bashed up and the flowers were like dried parsely. It's amazing what a good window, enough water and a little grooming can do in a matter of a couple of months. I hope this works -- it's my first uploaded picture.
bEAUTIFUL!!! You rescued a real winner. Keep uploading phots. We all love to see them. Lurker Lou
Nothing anticlimactic about this picture!
I agree with Lou: You rescued a winner. Nice job!
