We're seeing this Bald Eagle every day as he flies down to his usual tree.
Been a mixture of good and bad here. First our first house of 4 Tree Swallows fledged yesterday, but we worried about them all night. They first spent almost 2 hours out on the deck trying to clean and dry themselves. Here's the first one to leap.
Another one. We think the smallest one is the only one that ended up standing all night in our neighbor's yard. We found it in the exact spot this morning at 5:30 and you wouldn't believe how relieved we were when mom and dad came to feed it and finally get it to fly off. We missed that part, but we were certain it wasn't in the garden later on.
