Becky, My glories I started in the 8 oz foam cups are all looking great. I will
stick with this method from now own. Thanks for the reminder.

An original seed from Karen,Gardener2005 (Sazanami light) The last seed of the 3 she sent me to grow out the yr before. These were pretty blooms.

Nick, forgot to ask you was that pic of no Monet Fuji that you sent today on the same vine as the white bloom?

Garland, TX(Zone 8a)

Nope. Different vine. Have 5 total... waiting to see what other characteristics manifest — perhaps red with a blue star?? ^_^

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Heres hoping for a Red with Blue Star, :-)

edited to say I hope one of the 5 produces the true no Monet

Lavendar Chiffon in 09. I think this was a cross between Lav Chiffon and a Pink Tie Dye. I had gathered these sds the fall before from Lav Chiffon. You can see the light striping ala

The lighter blooms have been very nice too.

Jackie, this is my Mississippi Pandy that I dug up from the side of the road. I'm glad I did too cause the people that bought the house next to the area where it was blooming cut the tree-bush where it climbed and keep it well mowed. I had it in a pot last year and it didn't bloom but this year the roots were growing out so I planted in the ground and it's loaded with buds!

Jackie - Pretty Lavendar Chiffon! :-)

Helena - Really nice! Thanks for clarifying what the MS meant! Glad you got that Pandy saved. Looks like it is going to reward you for your efforts! :-) Don't ya just love a grateful perennial!? ;-)

I like your Ip. nil blooms too! Neat color variations! And I really like your Asagao from Japanese seller! Awesome bloom ... as they all are! Hard to even pick a favorite with all those beauties growing and blooming! Must be exciting to go for your morning stroll among the MGs!

Gorgeous blooms Helena. Your Saz purple is different, I think it might be a cross.
Love the asagao and Tsukiyono.
So happy that your Ms. pandy is blooming, you're gonna really enjoy that one.
Heres what the Purple Weird Saz looked like last yr

Helena - Beautiful blooms!!! I really love that Dark Tsukiyono vine! Also Karen2005's I. nil mix, too! And you are getting some outstanding blooms from DFNM!!! I am so amazed that the diluted gene shows up each generation from the seeds!

Your Fuji Kawata blooms may change as the vine ages to become more of a blizzard pattern as shown. Mine are now producing more blizzards. This is a photo of one taken yesterday morning that was a little beat up from the windy weather.

I have this NOID vine growing in one of the long rectangular containers. No idea what it is. There are several volunteers growing together. This is the only one to bloom so far. A large, blue-purple bloom. Reminds me a little of Sidare.
