Great shots everyone.

We've had two days of rain and cold temps. It sure doesn't feel like spring!
Here's a regular visitor to the "eagle's tree", a juvenile Bald Eagle that looked like it had just come out of the lake. Instead it just sat in the rain for an hour and a half while the crows dove at it and attempted to move it away from their nests.

Had a lifer today. Was terribly excited this morning to get this Scarlet Tanager. The sun wasn't in this are though, so not a crisp as I wanted, but wowee. what a fun bird to have in the yard.

I mistakenly posted this last night as a Western Kingbird. Sometimes looking at those little postage stamp-sized pics when I select them is difficult for old eyes. This is a Great Crested Flycatcher-- a much better bird for me to see. This is my FOS GC, there are always kingbirds in the field behind the house.
