dellrose - great start and I absolutely agree - your Prothonotary Warble is gorgeous! Wow, you have some other neat looking birds, too.
Lily_love - have a BB box up, but no takers. Your BB is pretty. I wonder if it is gonna move in? AND nice shot of the Great Crested Flycatcher
reddirtretiree - OMG, you have such a sweet variety. I especially like that Summer Tanager and the Indigo Bunting.
nanny_56 - pretty Baltimore Orioles. Is that just plain "hummer" sugar water in your orange feeder?
pelletory - congrats on the Summer Tanager lifer. I bet you were excited! AND the one flying up to the feeder - great.
ducbucln - its good to be back - and that Black Phoebe looks real good.

All gorgeous shots.
Brilliant start to the thread, Rose. Congratulations on the warbler lifer.
Pelle and Red, your Summer Tanagers are absolutely stunning. What a thrill it must have been to see that beauty in your yard, Pelle.
Beautiful Orioles nanny!
Wow I just looked out in the backyard to see the Summer Tanager clinging to the long tail prop suet feeder eating! I'm so glad he figured that out.
The Tanagers and Indego and the Warblers are beautiful. So fun to see all the new Spring arrivals. Good birding everyone.
Saw my first hummer of the season yesterday. He came around twice, but for some reason, he didn't take any drink from the feeder. He checked all the port and then flew off. Next few days is suppose to warm up a bit, hopefully he will stop in again then.
One of my recent arrival is the White-crowned Sparrow.
Welcome guys!
Hi Weerobin, Yes that is a Rose-breasted Grosbeak. As far as the range maps well they are usually close to being out of date by the time they go to print.
If you can do it, the best thing to do would be join your states Bird Listserv for reports from all other birders across your state. You can get reports sent in a digest form or individual e mails sent to your e mail account. It's a great way to find out what types of birds are being seen and where.
Here is a link, look under "Electronic Mailing List" - http://www.birding.com/wheretobird/missouri.asp
Nice pics everyone!
