Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Another one?! When?

Thomaston, CT

Nope....that's the one he climbed last year. Haven't seen any yet, and I'm happy.

Eastern Long Island, NY(Zone 7a)

Beautiful Crabapple, I'd like to get one of those..

Like the 'Colorful Path' and 'Bridge Over Pond' shots too!

Jersey Shore, NJ(Zone 7a)

Great pics Jen! But , Wow! has she grown. Just last year I remember walking through Rarefind with a stroller!!

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

I said to Randy.. the same thing.. no way would she fit in there now

Jersey Shore, NJ(Zone 7a)

If the pond had troubled waters would it be "Bridge Over Troubled Waters" ^_^

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

sure!!!

South Hamilton, MA

SDB iris= standard dwarf bearded. plants between 8" + 15" in height. Nothing to do with siberians which are beardless irises.

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

isn't standard dwarf an oxymoron?

:)

South Hamilton, MA

No there are miniature dwarfs (under 8") as well.

LOVE LOVE LOVE that tulip pic....you could put that on greeting cards, note cards, t-shirts, blown up poster size...well you get my point.

She was complaining she had to walk and she pointed to a baby in a stroller and said" yeah one of those to ride around in would be nice" I said "well you're not a baby anymore, you can walk"

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Great shots Jen, love the bridge and dogwood!

Robin that crab is amazing!!! Beautiful!!!!!!

Nice shots Victor, I am enjoying watching the LM leaf out too.

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

in case you couldn't tell.. I was just kidding Iris... Victor that tulip shot is great.. and I love the one with the 2 seedlings

Thomaston, CT

You have a clem blooming, Victor....I'm very jealous....also really like that geranium.....the crab was a free tree from the town....I have another, smaller one, just opening....oh, Lord, I just heard a yellow warbler in that crab....Bright yellow in the mauve blooms!

Eastern Long Island, NY(Zone 7a)

Nice ones Victor, esp the Autumm Moon, makes me want to buy a JM! lol!
(have to find out how big it gets & how high it grows.. )

I'll put up five shots, all but one taken today, all here at least one year..

First one up an azalea bush, bought this one at HD the week after mother's day. Put up the pic back then when Allison told me she had gotten a similar one and it failed to overwinter. I took the hint, placed it in large plastic pot and kept it in my breezeway through the winter. Temps stayed around 30°, soil never froze and it lost 3 tiny leaves. I think I watered it twice in those 3 mos.

- Took it out about 3 weeks ago to say hello to the sun, these are the first 2 blooms since last year, - many more blooms yet to come from this one judging by the buds..

Clematis, Alpina variety, first ones to bloom this year, (last year B. Harrington won that distinction and the year before it was Bee's Jubilee). This one has been here about 3 yrs, has countless buds now..

Centaurea Montana

Bought this one last year, at an end of spring sale also at HD, (5 gal pot). Think I paid $4.00 for a plant which had a dried up flower, but I said "what the heck lets see...", has about 10 flowers and some more buds coming up,

- didn't really get to see the flower until this year.

(Ohh BTW, the Centaurea shot above was the only one taken yesterday, - it still looks the same. lol!)

Last:
Blooms on my apple tree today, it put out the most blooms this year since I've had it, I think it's finally taking hold, about 8' tall now, been here 3 years..

Great photos, WC......the color on that azalea is very nice!

Jersey Shore, NJ(Zone 7a)

Nice WC! Your clem looks like Pink Flamingo. It bloomed first here also. Love your HD bargain, very pretty!

Eastern Long Island, NY(Zone 7a)

Thanks! ☺

Robindog, - I liked your Crabapple tree so much I went to the nursery and picked up a small one today!

Halifax, MA(Zone 6a)

Thanks for the compliments on my pics on the previous thread, you guys! I took more today. Bill, I was nowhere near filling my memory card. I can fit over 1000 on it. LOL! During peak daylily season it is not unusual for me to take about 400 pics a day, mostly of daylilies. You could say I'm nuts!

Abbey, I just love your river birch. It's on my wish list.

Oh, Jen, such lovely pics of the azalea blooms and others. This one is my favorite: http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/p.php?pid=8544313

Jen, are you on facebook? Just post the pics there, as you can do more than one at a time. Then post a link here. Don't have to be a member to view your pics through the link.

Marilyn, that's a gorgeous crab!

Gorgeous pics, Victor. Especially like the tulip trio pic.

WC, I love the centaurea shot. I bought one of those last year, too. Mine has not started blooming this year yet.

Thanks.

I have all my settings set to friends only, too, but if I send a link to someone who is not on facebook they can view my pics, but can't comment.

I think this is a MDB (mini dwarf bearded), also a NOID. Got all these from a friend who lives here in Halifax.
