Great boss!
Blooms 2011 #4
Great views Tex.
Just gorgeous Tex! Thanks for sharing with us!!
tex those are great pictures!
Everything is so beautiful, and we're grateful for all the wonderful pictures you share.
I'm trying to catch up from awhile ago. Karen, your picture of the pond in the previous thread showed a white weepy shrub in the far background. What was that? Spirea?
Wynne
those frilly ones are too cool
Gorgeous stuff going on at your place, Tex! Glad to see you posting again. I LOVE the orange double tulips, and that pic of it with the bright pink phlox is stunning! What a great combo! It also looks fabulous with the blues. Very nice!
Marilyn, your pink crab is to-die-for! Love it!
Jen, those yellow iris with the blue/white aquilegia is very pretty.
Wynne, yes, the weepy looking shrub is a spirea. That's a bridal wreath one, and the earliest to bloom here. It's very pretty when it blooms but the rest of the year I just don't care for it, and I'm always having to trim it back. Too much work, so It's coming out. I can plant hostas and other stuff in there.
I took some pics today. Will post later.
Karen
Wow Jen! Very Nice... Can't believe how fast Baby Blessed turned into a clump!!!
How wonderful that is. Cousin just left from a visit. She lives in Maine and was surprised at how much was up and going here.
I see that Magnolia alot and it always is loaded with blooms.
Like the star magnolia, Wynne....Allison, could be black-eyed Susans......
Allison, the second one is a bad vine...yank it! Like the pink azalea!
I have some that look the same in my annual garden, so I thought that's what they were.....
I'd wait a year...this winter was so brutal!
I actually cut it back last year... was all dead in the middle.. and just growing leaves on the tips.. I think the thing needs some worms up there in that rocky ground.. might have to relocate some.. LOL
Have both those weeds, but don't know what they are. Yes, the second is a pita vine.
thanks... I will ask again next year... I am sure.. LOL
oohh is that vine really hard to pull?.. think I might have another on the slope that I "tried" to get out
Not sure. I have a few weed vines.
pretty shot
Thanks...but I don't remember planting green-white ones! LOL
Allison I have that first one too, didn't think it was BES because the leaves aren't fuzzy
