Everything is so beautiful, and we're grateful for all the wonderful pictures you share.

I'm trying to catch up from awhile ago. Karen, your picture of the pond in the previous thread showed a white weepy shrub in the far background. What was that? Spirea?

Gorgeous stuff going on at your place, Tex! Glad to see you posting again. I LOVE the orange double tulips, and that pic of it with the bright pink phlox is stunning! What a great combo! It also looks fabulous with the blues. Very nice!

Marilyn, your pink crab is to-die-for! Love it!

Jen, those yellow iris with the blue/white aquilegia is very pretty.

Wynne, yes, the weepy looking shrub is a spirea. That's a bridal wreath one, and the earliest to bloom here. It's very pretty when it blooms but the rest of the year I just don't care for it, and I'm always having to trim it back. Too much work, so It's coming out. I can plant hostas and other stuff in there.

I took some pics today. Will post later.

Wow Jen! Very Nice... Can't believe how fast Baby Blessed turned into a clump!!!

In Maine, spring is just getting started. But the magnolia is really getting my attention. It was put in late last fall, after a workman backed over and broke the old one. Last tree at the nursery, a bit thin in places, but boy can it put out flowers! Magnolia kobus var stellata 'Royal Star'.

I'd wait a year...this winter was so brutal!

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

I actually cut it back last year... was all dead in the middle.. and just growing leaves on the tips.. I think the thing needs some worms up there in that rocky ground.. might have to relocate some.. LOL

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Have both those weeds, but don't know what they are. Yes, the second is a pita vine.

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

thanks... I will ask again next year... I am sure.. LOL

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

oohh is that vine really hard to pull?.. think I might have another on the slope that I "tried" to get out

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Not sure. I have a few weed vines.
