Yep!
May food
It's crazy what they put in our food, I try to shop organic as much as I can.
Did I tell you all??? My cousin got back from trip to Israel and she lost weight, unheard of when your on vaca, right? you usually gain weight, well she found out that in Israel it is against the law to add preservatives or chemicals to the food.
Interesting...I'll try to read more about this...
Mediterranean diet is also very healthy by comparison. I've been to Israel - i remember that it was not easy to find the kind of junk that were accustomed to - even if you are looking for it . Lots of whole grains, fish, olive oil, etc.
I try to eat as much organic food as well....I rarely eat packaged anything, except chocolate!
Oh yeah, well chocolate goes without saying....
I order from an organic candy company...
http://www.naturalcandystore.com/
My sister gets organic candy from her local store....but it costs $$$.....After hiking today, I did something I rarely do.....stopped for an ice cream cone.....coconut with choco chips.....not too bad! This little store makes their own, & it's not too sweet.
A little bite or two of something "special" doesn't really count, according to the Universe I inhabit.....enjoy !!!
Fish and chips with salad today and tomorrow! Yippee!
Fast hamburger on the grill before Trenton Thunder game. We were supposed to have pork chops but they were still frozen
Made pepper steak. Was good.
T-Bones on the grill, loaded baked taters, garden salad and FIDDLEHEADS!!!!!
Have you ever eaten ramps, Pixie? I know where some grow, but haven't had the nerve to try them.....
What are ramps Robin? I just looked them up, i've never eaten them but my brothers have. They call them 'wild leeks'

Thanks everyone. She starts at Carrier soon and one of the things she will be involved with has to do with the ventilation system in the Sistine Chapel.
Wow.....does she get to go to Italy to oversee the job? Sounds like she'll do well!
Cool! Literally and figuratively.
Please let her know about the Dirty Old Engineers Mentors Program. I am the founder and sole member. ^_^ Please don't tell me she's into sports, gardening, hiking and photography or I'm on the next train!
Robin, not sure if she gets to go!
Victor, she played volleyball in college, dated a hockey player, though is currently not dating anyone special, she is into photography, tells her mom she should plant mostly flowering shrubs for the low maintenance part of gardening...
Stop!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
She is *indeed* special.
Tell her to "Rock On."
