Beautiful Mothers' Day here and the weather continues today. I have so much to do outside but work interferes, just like every year. Oh well.
70 degrees and sunny here today.
Weather in Your Garden # 95
Gorgeous day out there. 58 and clear as a bell.
57° & sunny with a bit of a breeze. Always a bit cooler near the coast which we really appreciate in summer.
Perfect day today
Couldn't possibly be better.
65 and sunny. very sore from pulling grass out of the garden yesterday.
Beautiful day. Was cooler than I anticipated so I was cold all day, but gorgeous anyway. 66 degrees and sunny right now. I should be outside.
Sunny, 60s, & very windy! Should go & pull weeds, but too tired.
Too much sun today, I'm buying a 3 foot Mexican 'Pancho Villa' sombrero next time I see one...
Great day, though! Planted 21 roses out front. Nice cool breeze to go with the warm sun. Great combo. Wind was from the north!
WOW that's a lot of roses.
Gorgeous day I did NO work and spent the day playing with my daughter and reading outside, we ate dinner outside and my son did his homework outside...GORGEOUS!!!!
High was 71° and sunny( a few puffy clouds)
wow Kassia would be proud Victor
48 now going to 71
Another nice day. 58, clear and breezy.
that is a lot of roses - rain today
That's a lot of roses..
60°, wind from the North at 21 mph, clear, sunny skies.
Going up to 63° with partly sunny skies and winds slowing down to N 14 mph. Partly cloudy tonight becoming partly cloudy, going down to 46°. Perfect temps today for me, ☺
Yes - want to make a statement out front and hide the dang chameleon.
Gorgeous again. Didn't get out until after lunch. Just in. 72 and breezy. Heaven.
70 and sunny. Wind has picked up now.
What a beautiful day. Went to the garden center and bought strawberries for the kids to plant Thursday. Can't wait to be outside in a garden, any garden.
Another gorgeous day here. Feels like the Garden of Eden except for that dang Houttuynia cordata 'Chameleon' plant. Is that the same scourge you have, Victor?
Even Round Up, applied many times, did not kill it.
Rained pretty much all day with whipping winds, making it a raw day. YUK!
Yes, same one. Along with gooseneck loosestrife, chasmanthium and eupatorium 'Chocolate'.
Violets anyone? They are my scourge! Victor, did you buy shrub roses, tea roses, or whatever?
Oso Easy Peachy and Strawberry Crush. Big fan of Peachy. Had it for years now and it's the best rose I ever had.
I have violets and ajuga everywhere
I have ajuga in the lawn. Along with dandelions, plantain, clover and occasional crabgrass.
ooohhh 1/2 my lawn in the front is clover... it's green!!!
I like clover! So do the bunnies.
The roses sound wonderful! I have ajuga also...never planted it, have no idea were it came from. Forgot the weather! Low 70s, sunny, breezy....just a great day......will be birding on the Appy Trail tomorrow.....
As you're aware, Victor, that 'Chameleon' is a horror. We also have clover, violets and ajuga in the lawn as well as plantain, crabgrass and the purple weedy oxalis. Celandine is another horror.
Enjoy those roses. Are they Floribundas?
Have fun, Marilyn.
temp in the 50s. a very raw windy day outside. No garden work for either of us.
I believe they're classified as shrub roses.
My Ajuga is very well behaved. I try to keep the violets just in the little "woods" area I have, don't mind them so much back there, I want it to look very natural.
UGH weeds in the lawn don't get me started!!! Chickweed is the bane of my existence, then sheep sorrel, speedwell, buttercups(yellow wood sorrel) hairy bittercress, henbit, just to name a few. Just yesterday a new one popped up I have to identify it.
What an insane day today!!! I have sooooo much stuff to do.
I probably have all them too. Just call them by their collective name - #!*%#*!!-ing weeds.
Not to worry, Jen. I am further behind this year than ever.
LOL over your name for the weeds
I can't believe my son only has 20 days left of school
Wow, when does he finish?
June 7 is the last day
Nice. Private school, right?
Yes, hopefully hubby won't be too busy at work and we can get away for a few days to somewhere
Bayonne is nice this time of year. ^_^
What a great next few days we will have, just like early April last year.Pffffft.
