Oh we love BB babies here!!

Congrats on the oriole Mrs. ed!! I keep hoping for a Orchard Oriole here...drats!

I saw this oriole up in the tree and was hoping it was one......but think it is just a darker Baltimore.

Quote from teddy_8905 :
Could someone tell mw where the Hummingbirds are? Have had the feeder up for about 2 weeks and nothing yet. Is it too cold for them? Temps have been in the high 30's at night and low 50's during the day, could that be why?

Now I can just tell you my general experience....They arrive....I see them upon occasion and more often as more get here. Their time here is very short so they pretty much get right down to the business of building nest mating and raising the young ones. It is at this point that I now see them very often and more than one at a time. So I regard May as knowing they are around but don't hold out for many photos yet! I tend to see them more while I am walking right now.

Wooohooo, this thread is getting better and better. BCH, your grandson must be thrilled! So wonderful to share such neat experience with a youngster. gp the B.C. Conures are lucky. Apparently they do okay in the wild in Fl.

Excellent photos on this thread. I'm sorry to start a new thread a little early but I will be away from my computer for a spell.
