We stopped when she wasn't and while I was pointing at her epis I saw her looking out the window. I told my Dad I hope she didn't worry or get freaked out, what with so many weirdos in today's world. I told my Dad we have to stop when she's outside so I can ask her about them and so she doesn't worry someone is watching her house.
Is Sopi the only one with a bloom in April?
Tonight I had a surprise when I checked my greenhouse. The two buds I was checking on had already bloomed last night and this bloom was at the back of the plant and I didn't even know it was there. This plant is only two and 1/2 years old but is huge. Probably about 3 feet in height and full. HOPE YOU ENJOY. bob
I gotta get my green house in shape so I can expand my flowers. That is a beautiful bloom as all the flowers are. I would love to stand in a green house with blooms all around me.

Lavina: When you say that you would love to stand in a greenhouse with all the blooms all around you---I use to think that was what it would be like to have a greenhouse; thousands of blooms all the time. The reality is that I always seem to have a couple of blooms at any one time, never a whole lot at once. Even when you have eight or nine orchids in bloom at one time it still seems like so few when your looking at 500 plants! It has, however, taught me to love the green plant itself. I enjoy it when all my plants are looking healthy and robust even if they not in bloom. It's all about compromise. bob
These are all gorgeous! I can't wait until next season. I cut a tremendous amount back, and I am rooting the cuttings in the greenhouse now. I am hoping that when I begin feeding the mama plants, they will fill out again very nicely. I hated to cut them, but they were too big to fit in the greenhouse with everything else.
Orchidman, my april showers looks more of a fuschia color. It has only bloomed once though so I am not sure.
Mine is definitely fuscia also when seen in good light. Mine was full of blooms the very first time it bloomed.
This last week I returned from a business trip and found that a 22 foot long shelf had fallen about five feet to the
ground. Other shelves were hit on the way down. I was amazed that I didn't have more damage. I do have about 20 or so new Noids planted and
hopefully growing. We'll see what happens this Spring.
I try so hard not to have noids but will never guess about a name. I have tried to maintain plant name integrity. I have amassed probably forty Noids which hopefully I can match with my named hybrids later. We'll see. bob
