Is Sopi the only one with a bloom in April?

Santa Ana, CA(Zone 10b)

6 of my 9 have bloomed have bloomed this month, and Epi crenatum will before the end of the month.

OCCAROL Absolutely Beautiful and very healthy looking. Being in the midwest I can only hope I see a bloom. It has to get warm enough to get them outside first, we've had nothing but cold and rainy. Yeah I'm complaining....LOL your pictures gave me hope. ha ha

Ya, I'm blessed (?) with Ca. weather, but a friend on another site has gotten her Epis to bloom in the house by moving them from the "cool" room to the warmer room. We've been cool , cloudy, and drizzley here this week too, but next week 's supposed to get up around the 80s again. Our typical spring roller coaster ride.

I have moved them to a little brighter light and actually have started feeding them with hopes that it will start to stay warmer than 50. I think at least 3 of mine have a chance to bloom this year. You sure have a nice looking california yard, like the citrus tree. I've got apple and cherry, the cherries are starting to set blooms and the plums are doing well too.

Santa Ana, CA(Zone 10b)

Haha! It's not much of a yard, but bigger than most mobile home parks around here. That shade house for my orchids is a work in progress. It will be enclosed , somehow, by winter. I wanted a greenhouse, but couldn't fit one in without removing a tree. On the plus side, I can mow and edge my tiny patch of grass in 5 minutes.

When you say you're feeding your Epis, you do mean with bloom food, right?

Fort Wayne, IN

Only 5 minutes mowing, leaves alot more time for playing with your greenhouse add on. I have a nice sun porch but its not heated so I can't use it until.......would you believe 2 to 3 inches of rain today ugh. I am feeding them with Schultz Bloom Plus, I put some of my epis out today to let the rain water them.

Got my fingers crossed for you!

Thanks, if I get any blooms you can bet I'm posting pictures!!!

I am out of town right now and my daughter took the pictures for me. Therefore, I don't know the bloom size until I see it for myself if it is still there. The plant had three buds so I will get to see one of them. I'll let you know about size. SPACE ROCKET FROM LAST SEASON. 8" BLOOM

Another Red Noid that has about eight blooms on it. It was given to me by a Dave's friend who helped me get started with Epies. I really love it.

Great pictures ... Love to see those blooms. I immediately put 'Deutsche Kaiserin' on my must have list.

I've only had a couple bloom so far this year.

I love everyone's blooms! My Dad has been peeking over my shoulder looking at them. We found out a lady down the road has epis in her hanging baskets and they've been in bloom. I pointed them out to him and now he can't wait to see mine eventually bloom.

Santa Ana, CA(Zone 10b)

It will take a couple of years! Make friends with that lady, and I'll bet she will share cuttings.
