Here is the corner of the driveway with the kitchen walkway. Hens & Chicks are growing on the asphalt with grape hyacinths behind and heuchera beside.

Bought some red hens & chicks last year.....don't see them this year!

Those are old Hens & Chicks. I got the first ones from my cousins grandma when I was 10 then grabbed a few from moms house when I was 40 to plant here. One, that mulch can be way off in Ph for most plants. That's how it controls weeds.
Pear flowers are so interesting. The pollen turns from pink to black as it ages. Here is the Seckle yesterday.
