Great color on the hellebore.....
Nice hellebore, Jo. Can never have enough of those. I would like to fill my woods with them.
Karen
GF is going to Seattle where they grow in swaths in fields.
Still a pretty bloom, Andy.
Nice, Jo and Andy. Would love to see those swaths of hellebores. Must be a sight to behold.
Karen
That looks great, Jo. Poor rhodies. Maybe they'll bounce back. Some of mine got some winter damage this year.
Karen
I think they need iron. I spilled ashes in the area. Wind blew the bag away from me and dumped them on the rhodies. One died, I didnt think the ash would contaminate so far but lower leaves are going and the color doesnt look good.
Quick....throw on some Miracid! You might save them.....
I did water with Miracle Gro for rhodies a week ago. Cross fingers it is enough.
With all the rain weve had It should trickle down to the roots.
So pretty, Andy!
Jo, I hope your rhodies bounce back for you.
Karen
Like the color of the pasque flower.....
Me too, very nice Andy!
I have them on my wish list for Bluestone sale.
OOh, I agree, Jo!
I have some of those......nice contrast.....
bummer.. it's nice too
I know!!! and it matched perfectly
here is something I didn't know
Divide hyacinth bulbs every three to five years, when blooms decrease in size and quantity. Dig the bulbs out of the ground after their foliage dies back. Separate the offsets that grew off the original bulb by hand. Replant immediately, or store them in a refrigerator until fall.

Gorgeous hyacinth, Jen. Bummer that it's gone.
Allison, I will have to take some time to divide mine. They're still looking good, but I'd like to spread them around some.
Karen
Oh, see that...who knew????
I have a few that are wimpy ... going to mark which ones today so I know which ones later
Are we talking hiasenths ?
yes.. sorry.. not really awake yet
:)
OK I need to divide DD's. and make it look like nothing happened.lol
It's early enough, Jo. I have hostas that need dividing, but the roots are so tough, I keep putting it off.....
She's out of town for 2 weeks.HMMMMMM
I tried to dig up part of my Joe Pye Weed, and couldn't get a shovel into it at all.
Yes, that's another problem for me....and Jo, if I can dig some, you are very welcome to them!
Your place looked great last year, Jo.
Marilyn, I have hostas to divide, too, among a gazillion other things to do. Nice hellebore.
Deb, joe-pye-weed can be a real bugger.
