That's the kind of magnolia I wanted....my neighbors all have them.....I have a small, ugly tree, with very late, dark purple blooms.....never cut it down because it was a present from DH....guess I'll have it forever!

My daphs finally bloomed but no tulips yet. the magnolias are finally blooming. We may get spring yet. I do have one English daisy and some pulmonria and that's it.
