Down on the ground? not this old lady!!
I crouch and use the macro lense. Thats why many pix are not focused. Its hadr not to move when your half way down and ballancing on arthritic toes. ENOUGH of my bisching.
Only spring blooms here were the men working on my steps. Thought I saw peaches.

Nice Allison!
Yes - very nice! Like that creamy daff and the nice color assortment of hyacinths.
think that creamy daff needs to be divided yet?... not sure when to do it
Don't think I ever divided any daffs!
ok then... I like that theory
Very pretty Allison, your daffs look like the cheerfulness although they have a trumpet as well; The hyacinths are very pretty.
Nice pics, Allison and peonia. I like those creamy daffs, too. I don't know if daffs ever need dividing. I do divide just so I can spread them around.
Jo, you are too funny!
Karen
thanks guys.. I was enjoying the smell of the hyacinths along my stroll
I dont divide the ones we inherited with the house.
They werent blooming so I fed them. The Next year wow they are going nuts.
I have a Bluestone order to plant and its pouring.
I hope the old saying "rain before seven stops at eleven "is true.
Nice pics Allison, I love that yellow hyacinth!
Jo, I hope your adage is true. We need the rain but not every weekend.
I just spotted my peonies with buds today.
thanks Celeste... I should run over to the A&P and see if they have any nice baskets this year... the shop rite didn't impress me.. a lot of the different colors came from those baskets.. just plunk em in after the holiday
Is that tulip Quebec? It's my first tulip but you're beating me!
Quebec isn't a name I remember...
amazing how you now jumped in front of me... my pulmy is not ready yet... and tulips too.. love the variegated tulip though... very cool
My pul. is a spring bloomer, I have a may-june bloomer too but that one starts blue and turns lavender-pink.
my raspberry splash is also a spring bloomer... you just beat me now
OK, found the red tulips with the green & white foliage it is:
Tulipa - praestans 'Unicum'
Still looking for the other one.
This is where I buy my pulmonaria, they are about 15mins. from here and have good sized plants. These are all outside so I know they can handle any winter MN throws at them. The other thing is they are in bloom so I can see which colors I like best. :)
They have a good variety too, so you can get blooms from March till June.
