awwww look at the cute minis!!!!!

So do I have to keep pruning off the bottom growth? and will it grow normally even though it was broken?

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Nice array of confiers Bill, busy?

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

not sure of yours Jen.. but my Harry is 5 years old... and I have to cut off the root stock suckers off every year.. sometimes twice
the cheap little twig size ones I bought are so much better because they were rooted and not grafted

Bill I don't know your taste .. but when I put light colored gravel under my minis they really popped out.. but I love all your containers

Jersey Shore, NJ(Zone 7a)

Oh no! I love those conifers and minis, Bill. You might have caused a new addiction.

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

this one is one of my favs.. and survived outside since 2009

Love that cypress!
Pretty ge, tulips are about to pop!

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

bad part is... it takes a lot of shade... so I put it in the front of the house where it only gets evening sun... it burned in every other spot I tried

Is this a sand Cherry?

I don't know...does a sand cherry have serrated leaves? Planted one in the school garden many years ago, & I can't remember....
