Star Magnolia bud
Spring Growth 2011 #2
woo hoo.. starting to take off!!!
Great photos, and today's strong sun (Sunday) will push things along (especially if you got the same rain that I got, since you're less than 20 miles away.
I noticed today my neighbors magnolia was starting to bloom, & it's not a Star.....mine is so much later.....
Yes, BA, we got drenching rain last night. And what nice weather we had today. I didn't take any pics, though. Was too busy cleaning my sales area and potting things up. Also transplanted a couple of things.
I saw star magnolias in full bloom in Plymouth. Mine haven't started yet.

Nice, Memory and Weeze.
I will have to take some pics tomorrow.

Memory, I grow the purple as well, but no sign of it yet!
I have white and there used to be yellow but they have disappeared over the years.
no sign here either
I spotted my delph is putting up shoots.. plopped another upside down tomato cage on the one I was fighting with last year.. since it worked so well with the 1st one
amazes how how much further you are ahead of me.. mine are still little nubs
Just hosta noses here. bout 3 weeks to leaves.
aaaaaaaahhhhhhhh my eyes are burning!!!!.. LOL
My hostas are just little nubs still, too, though some have bigger nubs than others. I took pics today, lots of them. Will post some as soon as I get them resized.
