What're your other favourite hobbies?

Apparently propogating people is high on my list. LOL Completing final steps on number five as I type this. :) I also love any type of craft, reading, researching just about anything-lately it has been old coins and records-not mine. chuckle I also love to cook and bake and make homeade candies. Oddly enough, I have found that I truly enjoy remodeling and carpentry type stuff-guess that is from buying an older home and learning how to do it all myself. About the only thing I don't enjoy is bowling and I think it is because I am horrible at it! LOL

I do hand quilting, lots of reading (winter lasts 9 months here), a bit of car restoration (look for camaro pics soon!), hunting with SO, write short stories, and do alittle furniture restoration as well. We are also rabid Raiders fans.And I am trying to get back into jogging - big emphasis on TRY.

I enjoy reading(about two books a week), mainly best-sellers, crocheting(making an afgan now) and painting on rocks. Anyone with nice smooth rocks in their stream???. Most I do these hobbies at work--and at home in the warm months it is all gardening. I work at a sand and grael operation as a dispatcher/weigh clerk. When it' s slow, I am free to read , etc. Davesgarden.com and become a hobby all to itself lately. LOL

I collect seeds, plants, friends:) Dave's is my biggest hobby. I have in the past done: oil painting (a hospital bought 20 of my paintings), crochet, porcelain dolls, cake decorating, gumpaste flowers and probably a thousand more my DH could rattle off. Health keeps my energy level extremely low, so Dave's is a great hobby for me right now.

Cooking ans crafts when I can't get out in the garden.

Gardenwife - I'm glad to see you also scrapbook. I was beginning to think I was the only one who did. I really figured there would be at least half of us into that.

Tig, you SOLD 20 painting? WOW! I painted a nice (well, I thought it was)picture of poppies and my DD's fought over who HAD to hang it in their house! Jo

My winter hobby is painting in both oils and acrylics...decorative painting. I also enjoy flower arranging....had a flower shop for 6 years....crocheting and learning to use my scroll saw!

But gardening and all the birds and other critters are still my favorite pastime.

My hobbies other than the net and Daves and gardening. Well like GV said I used to read a lot. And I like alot of the authors she mentioned my all time favorite author is Danielle Steele. But I don't do as much reading now. I also collect unicorns, and antique kitchen utencils and Homer Laughlin dishes and some occupied Japan things. We used to collect beanie babies but kinda got out of that. I also like cross stich but haven't done any for awhile. But now Daves is my hobby. lol

My top hobby is " Perenial Gardening" then there is " motor-cycle riding" ( DH and I both have our own Harleys and we usually go out riding on the week-ends during the nice weather and go to a lot of shows and events) _ Water Gardening, playing guitar, Painting bird houses and gourds,doing 'bead-work' dog-training, hiking, video caming nature,bird-watching, Night-time Owl-watching, wood-burning, Lot's of Bird-scaping, reading ( mostly gardening books ) and of course, Always checking out DG's site.
