My last one, is of a Carolina Chickadee who made a home in a little bird house that my DW put up so the birds could get the seed that was on it. It is on the porch of my wheelchair ramp. .

Great pictures everyone. Got down to 26 degrees this morning, Cleared off after our rainy cloudy day yesterday.

The blackbirds were really talking it up this morning and the robins. Haven't seen any bluebirds tho.

This is one of the many geese we have here at the Marina, this one was not afraid of me, I did not have to use zoom, he was that close, he did not show any anger or aggression so I snapped a pic of him, although I would not have dared get that close if there were babies.

Foggy morning Thursday, and rainy today, not great weather for taking bird pictures, maybe this weekend will be better. I like the way I got the American flag in the center, that was a lucky shot.

LEW_TEX - nice shots. That is one handsome Myrtle Warbler.
Pelle, beautiful start.
Meth, crazy about the purple finch and the swallows!
Hack, nice ones!
Love the Whooper Swan! Beautiful!
Nice one Teddy.
Red, the best thing for fire ant bites is to get the poison out using a drying agent like -- mud mask, toothpaste (preferably paste and not gel), that overnight acne spot treatment in Proactive. Works best if you do it immediately after being bitten though, so might be too late. You must have been one of those people with the primo spot when the orchard orioles showed up! Very nice photo!

My friend tells me that this is a Swainson's Hawk. Looks like a whimpy Red-tailed to me but what do I know.
