Yes, I have always had lots of bunnies. I let them eat the clover in the lawn so they leave the other plants alone.

Eastern Long Island, NY(Zone 7a)

Nice healthy looking Potentilla, and the pear tree has leaves! mine are all still twigs! lol!

Eastern Long Island, NY(Zone 7a)

Victor, you are lucky. We have tons of clover being eaten by the cute bunnies, that are fun to watch hopping about, but also always covered with deer ticks. However they seem to also enjoy eating anything else that is green and that has been loving planted by me and seem to especial relish girding my young shrubs and chewing on all the new;y emerging iris leaves. I was hoping that the feral cats were dining on rabbit this spring, but seeing lots of evidence that the rabbits are still around in numbers that are way too high to make them totally adorable in my eyes. WC, did you try the banana yet? Or blueberries?

Eastern Long Island, NY(Zone 7a)

Not yet, I wish I had them yesterday, my DW and I don't usually buy bananas because we usually don't eat them, they spoil too fast, (I think the last time I bought a banana was last year, when I suddenly got a craving for pancakes with bananas),
- but I'm going shopping tomorrow so I'll pick some up for 'you know who'...

"who me??" (lol)

Just one bananna will do then...the bunny will only eat a piece of about 2" at a time. I give Patches a little piece in the morning, or a leaf of green leaf lettuce. I read (somewhere) not to give them head lettece, loose leaf is better for them.
When i buy blueberries to go on our cereal I will give her 4 - 5 for breakfast also :)

Cute bun, WC.

Got it, I'm going to try with the blueberries first, that way she already knows what it is and won't ignore it. I've tried giving her carrots many times and she's passed them by, -almost tripping on them on the way to get water! She ignores them, like if she doesn't know what it is! At the moment she likes corn, works on Ethanol.. (lol)
- She knows what blueberries are though, that's for sure,.. maybe she'll leave me a few this year! ☺

- Yeah I think she's cute, makes me happy when I see her, (I was a city kid so we didn't see too many of those..), the numbers are dwindling here as the concrete spreads, used to be able to see more of them to the West towards the city but they've all but disappeared from that area now, they don't survive in an urban environment...

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

nice shots victor - no jm's here leafing outside - inside the garage looks pretty good though - they come out this weekend.

Wonderful photos, Victor & Jen, & WC.....bunnies are cute, but I sympathize with Patti, too. Never see bunnies here, my yard is fenced, & the coyotes eat them as well.....

Eastern Long Island, NY(Zone 7a)

- That's ok, I can understand both points of view.. ☺

Not a JM. Weeping katsura is Cercidiphyllum japnicum. To confuse things, there is a JM, which I have, called Katsura.

Eastern Long Island, NY(Zone 7a)

Ugh! Well, yours is very nice..
