mail multiples?

Victoria, TX(Zone 9b)

Dave,
can I mail more than one person at a time with the same message without having to click each member one at a time?

Jennifer, what I do is type in their addresses and separate them with a semicolon' The one message will go to all listed at once'

Example: To.address;address;

Your Message here

Then hit your(Send) to mail' Hope this helps you' Sis'

yes,AngelSong, you can put as many names as you wish in the 'to' line and then go ahead and click on send.

I know I can do it with an email program. What I meant was "can I do it here"?? When you click on a member's name, it says "send AngelSong an email". If you click on that link, the only fill-ins you have are "subject" and "text".

To send out my big/little information yesterday, I had to click on each member's name one by one by one by one (and discovered I forgot something in the first five or so). It might've been easier to make a multiple list of DG'ers here and only send one mail msg.

Does this make more sense??

Jennifer,

I don't think Dave has any option like that just yet. There are a lot o schematics being offered up right now. Maybe in the future.

I can think of two reasons you can't send an e-mail to multiple DG'ers:

1. It prevents spamming: you can't send out an e-mail to all 4,359 (and counting) members of DG - at least not simultaneously.

2. When you send an e-mail to me via DG, I see your "real" e-mail address. You cannot learn MY "real" e-mail address unless I choose to reveal it to you via a reply. I'm not sure Dave can protect our privacy if he allows e-mails to be sent to multiple recipients simultaneously.

A "work-around solution" that I've used is to copy (highlight and press "Ctrl" and "C" keys) my text before I send an e-mail, then create the next one and paste the same message into it.

Okay .

Nevermind .

I will email my requests and questions directly .
