Dave, Spillchicker I mean Spellchecker?

Newark, OH(Zone 5a)

Ever thought of adding a Spellchecker to the site? Really don't know what would be involved. I have seen it on other sites and think it would be a great feature. However I can continue to write my post in word and copy them over.

Thanks, Howie

I've been thinking about that one myself. Not sure how do-able it is...but it would be nice.

Howie,

Maybe.. If I do indeed put a spell checker in here, it'll be a ways down the road.

Boy I am glad I am not the only one who needs a spell checker. Going back over some of my posts i say to my self had a bad spelling day on that one. And I know I am not the only one here that spells terrible, I wont mention any names.
Eyes send me a gallon jug of white out next time.

I dont spell bad, i tpye bad! There's a differnce! LOL

On a slightly different note.... I would become incredibly frustrated as a child with an educational toy given to my cousin who had slight learning difficulties.

It was called speak and spell and as far as my young mind was concerned, it couldn't spell properly. Why? Well I speak English as my first language but the speak and spell was in American English LOL.

I think a spell checker is a good idea but it doesn't worry me too much when I see spelling mistakes. Grammatical errors really wind my family up so its nice not to have to watch my p's and q's here as it were.

BUT ...a spell check will correct MOST "bad tpyeing" Just got this in email today. ( by the way...I asked for a spell checker over a week ago...are we a MAJORITY yet? Jo

Depend on your spell checker to tell you when you make a mistake? Give
this one a try . . .

Ha Ha Roadrunner - that sounds like something my dd would write after using spell checker. She now uses me (instead of the dictionary).

NJ, are you sure we're not related? My DD used to call me from her office, saying Hurry Mom, we're playing this game and I need to know what -----? means...or how to spell it. Kept my dictionary handy for her! But, Lord Loves 'em....what would the world be like without them...wouldn't have that cute little cowboy dude. Jo

Roadrunner - I do know that dd is related to her father. He is absolutely awful so we can't blame today's lack of phoenics in the school on him.
