Spring has sprung...I saw a robins every where today! When I asked Oryanna if spring was here she said yes. I said "How do you know?" She said "Because the Easter bunny will be here soon."
I KNEW THAT !
Coffee Break #56 Spring is Here!
Too adorable and precious for words.
LOL, and they say lids these days are dumb! Guess not!
too cute!!
Like that wink? LOL That kid is a joy to have around. Some of the things that come out of her mouth make me stop and think how old she is. Old Soul in a new body....im not kidding.
Love that wink!
Very cute!
Adorable!
I showed hubby a pic of caramels and he said it car-a-mel.
Good!
Ory is a doll! My HayHay was showing me her class photo today, & pointed out her best friend, Eva. I said to her that my Gram's name was Eva....she looked surprised, & said "You have a Gram?"
How cute!
the town sent a text that a pedestrian was hit last night... looking for any witnesses
:(
Speaking of trees, my river birch leader broke under the eight of snow/ice. About the top foot, smaller tree, planted as a twig really that I had dug up. tree is only 4 ft high. Should I leave it or should it go? I have read different thoughts in books and online sites.
Brian offered to buy me a new shirt......

I should have had a drink at the exact time. Next year!
Not looking like Spring here at the moment....looking like a blizzard....I really hate snow! I wanted to get to Ocean State & look for an obelisk for my new clems....oh, well!
Thanks for ther reminder Robin, I always go to O.State for lawns items and haven't been since last summer!
I stopped in a few weeks ago, & they had some summer stuff out, but were arranging more things...I saw only one obelisk, & it was a short one, so I'm hoping more came in.....otherwise I'll have to drive up to Ward's in Great Barrington......
Stupid is as stupid does.

Yep pretty stupid....
A friend of mine was at the gym and a guy fell off the treadmill near her and died, while a lot of the people just continued on with their workout....real nice!
Wow. How awful.
''A friend of mine was at the gym and a guy fell off the treadmill near her and died, while a lot of the people just continued on with their workout...real nice!''
Geez!!!!
I can't imagine continuing on with a workout in that circumstance.
I took the rest of mom's clothes to Goodwill after people at church looked through. Even though she wasn't my size, I kept some pieces that are memory makers for me. Maybe we can make some little girl outfits from them. It was kinda cathartic.
My oldest son will probably be going to Japan at some point for his insurance company. The were asked if anyone spoke Japanese and he said that he did. So, now there is a group that is learning construction code terms, etc. At least he could help interpret. He has such a burden on his heart for the Japanese people.
Jan, I didn't realize you had lost your mom. My condolences. That is a nice idea, keeping some to use the fabric.
Thank you, Sally. It's been 6 weeks already. Time has just flown.
Still difficult to deal with everything......Did your son take Japanese for course work, Jan, or did he take it as an adult? I only took HS French, but did OK when I went to France, or at least I felt I did....the natives were probably falling about laughing at me! Worse, I got lost in Germany, had about 3 words in German, but luckily the first person I stopped for help was an English businessman, and he knew the street I was searching for....
Our friend was supposed to be going back to Japan in a few weeks for work, he's like "ahhh no thanks!"
Jan, another idea....baby doll or teddy bear clothing
One of the women in my art class had rented a house from a friend in Japan for the month of June.....decided not to go......
DS took Japanese in college and spent a semester there. That's where he met his wife. She's from Oregon and was a Japanese major. He had spent the summer between his junior and senior year in high school with a missionary couple that we supported. Then lived there for 2 years with his bride while she taught English. They sponsor many kids from Japan while they study in Portland OR after high school. In fact there are so many that come that there has been an apartment set up for them which is paid for by their city in Japan. They are very big on international relations and my DIL who teaches Japanese in her school usually takes a group over for homestays every other year. Where they go is on the West Coast near the Sea of Japan.
It's probably wise not to go there unnecessarily. I'm sure they will wait till it's safe to go.
^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^^
Doll clothes is a good idea also, Jen
I salute your family for working hard to improve international relations.
Please thank them for me, their "good works" is much appreciated !!!
I surely will BA. We're very thankful for how all our boys turned out and the girls they married.
Yes, I second that!
