Spring is finally here! I consider today the first day of spring since by definition, 12 hours of light and 12 of dark happens on the first day of spring.
Weather in your garden # 92
Actually today is St. Patrick's day by definition and spring is on Sunday, but that's ok, this is Victor's thread so things are a little bit wacky here, nice picture! ... ☺!
60°, wind from the South at 9 mph and we clear skies
Going down to 41° tonight becoming partly cloudy, 'real feel' will be 35°.
'Equinox' literally means equal night (and day). That is today for me!
I never listen to them, some of them say spring in January...
Nice yellow Andy, so pretty ....like the stripes too Victor!
What a day! Hit 62 here, & I sat on the patio & drank an iced latte.....first time on the patio since Dec.
64 here, awesome
62 here also, sat outside and read, it felt wonderful to feel the sun again.
54 here !!
60 plus today and beautiful. I can't really enjoy it yet cause I'm so washed out from surgery. However, crocus are in full bloom and at school the daffodils are trying to open.
So Victor, why is Spring officially this weekend. Is it because of where they're measuring the day length?
... maybe a little more involved. ☺

Made it to upper 50's, beautiful warm sun. Walked on top of snow to out back where the snow is gone. Helleborus made it okay and very little wilt on azaleas/rodies. Had the door open to the house to let in some fresh air. Driveway is muddy though. I hope it doesn't last too long. Getting anxious to start some plants indoors. Have some in flats on the open front porch. Probably bring them in a couple of weeks and place them under the light and on heat pads. Just a little experiment I'm trying.
hit 63 here and same tomorrow - lots of melting - can see many bulbs coming up - all the safron i planted is up, now need to get the tweezers ready:)
Saturday night will feature a 'super full moon', where the full moon coincides with the closest approach of the moon in its orbit to the earth. Will appear about 15% bigger.

Okay, that's very interesting. I'll go with Happy Spring, Happy St. Patrick's day. And, when I'm outside enjoying the beautiful weather they promise for the weekend, I'll watch for that giant moon. Great links Victor.
made it to 60 here.
High was 63°
Still warm here 64* temps falling into the 40's and snow showers.
It's 39 at the moment going up to 56 today with rain and strong winds. We have a wind advisory starting at 10 am to 8pm ....oh well if we got to have winds at least they are warmer winds this time.
A WIND ADVISORY MEANS STRONG WINDS OF 31 TO 39 MPH OR GUSTS OF
46 TO 57 MPH CAN LEAD TO DAMAGE DUE TO DOWNED TREE LIMBS AND
SCATTERED POWER OUTAGES.
49 now... going to 70!!!
47° here, wind from the Southwest at 15 mph, and it's partly cloudy.
Going up to 62° today, with increasing clouds, wind will shift from the West wind at 16 mph.
Tonight temps will dip to 39° with winds from the North/ Northwest, skies will be mostly cloudy.
70? Holy cow!
only for today .. but I will take it!!.. high of 51 tomorrow

Yes - about 70 here too, but windy. Wind is welcome now to continue the dryout. Colder temps this weekend.

Good morning.
Currently 52 degrees and cloudy in WNY. Temps will be dropping down into the 40's today.
Have a blessed and fantastic Friday, folks.
