Search feature

I tried to do a search for "Harquahala" in both the simple search and also the advanced search in articles by me (Xenomorf) and both ways the results only yielded 1 result, when it should have yielded 3 in the 'Plants Identification' forum and about 63 in the 'PlantFiles Pictures' forum.
(Unless it's not possible to search the 'captions', which I think it should be)
Am I not doing something right?
The only result I got was when 'Harquahala' was in the Subject header and not in the body of the post.

You are welcome, I'm glad you're seeing everything again!

I don't mean to bug anybody about this but, just so I know... How often, or when does the database update to include captions in the search results? I am searching for the word 'mazatzal' of threads by Xenomorf, and I am not getting them all in the results. It has been a week or more since they were submitted to the PlantFiles.

Yes, that's about how many I expected to find. Which is about 120 more than when I originally did the search right before posting a reply to this thread. I was only getting about 40 results before.

No problem - my guess is it was an extra space or stray character, like a single quote (') that threw off your results.

That may have happened *maybe* once, but I had tried 6 or 7 times throughout the week and still got the same 40 or so results. I hand type each word instead of copy/paste.
