Didn't have to rotate this one. I was asking him nicely (doesn't everyone ask them for permission to take their photos? I always talk to the critter I'm photographing!), if he could move so I could show everyone how beautiful that he was, and he complied by climbing to the top of the flower. What a sweetheart! : - )

Visit to the Butterfly Farm in Phuket, Thailand
This is the girl I was referring to earlier. She managed to coax the yellow b.fly onto the fruit she is holding. She wasn't quite brave enough to touch him though! Giggles, 'cause they tickle! LOL! : - )
Like I said it's like magic to see the kids interacting with respect towards the b.flys, and other critters too. A very memorable moment. : - )

A very large and beautiful floral feeding station near the b.fly's pre-school. I don't know what else to call it, since I used the term nursery for where they have the pupae. These b.fly's are newly hatched and still learning to be b.fly's. : - )
There are whole bunch on the station but you'll have to zoom in to see 'em. : - )

That one you posted #136 and the last few is a Julia Longwing but don't know the formal name.
The #138 is the Great Eggfly.
The young girl is so serious LOL! Reminds me of seeing the children during the ones I worked. They walk through the exhibit with their arms held out like Frankenstein, begging for butterflies to land on them. Then when one does most of the scream and shake their arm.
That streak of yellow is sunshine I am sure, since it isn't on the other wing.
Yup, kids are always good for a laugh. It's still magic when they connect, though. : - )
Meanwhile, if I see a caterpillar on the path or an injured b.fly I'm picking them up and putting them on a plant.
Sheila, I'm just not so good at remembering, as you well know, so I always appreciate help. : - )
Here's another of the same orange b.fly. I'm not at all sure if the yellow I'm seeing is sunshine on it's wing or a yellow stripe brought out by the sun. But it's still a beauty!
