Beautiful subject and photo, Allison.

Love those lilies, Jo Ann.

Some of the old, no ID, Asiatic lilies we bought when we first started gardening here.

very nice with that heuchear Pirl

(Arlene) Southold, NY(Zone 7a)

Thanks, Jo Ann. The heuchera was touted to be a different color - live and learn.

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

Its still a good kizmet.
I poured over heuchera plants online when I was putting together the Woodpile garden. Sashay was such a subtle bluegreen with those shreaded edges. I ordered and planted and it looks nothing like any of the pics.
I buy local more and more when its really important to have just the right color.

(Arlene) Southold, NY(Zone 7a)

So do I. Buying local is the only way to judge how they grow in the area.

I wanted Sashay for the same reason as you. Glad I didn't find it and waste my money on another disappointment.

This is one of the hoop houses at my favorite local nursery and just about 1000' from my daughter's home so it's twice as tempting to visit. I can spot which heuchera grow the best so no matter how good they may look online I get the real view of them here.

Sorry! I got so involved with the heuchera that I forgot this was the one a day thread.

Just realized thats NOT centerfold.....you got one of my "White Pixels"...it's short right?

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

sweet. reminds me of Nettys Pride. My eyes are bad so its not a dead ringer.

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

ooohhh how about that... yes it is a short one

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

I'm sorry for telling you it was CF. I have CF on the left, Landini in the middle and WP on the right of the dog fence. When I dug I took from the middle and mostly from the left so I thought it was CF but it has too many spots.
