Hey all,

In honor of National Invasive Species Awareness Week happening February 28 - March 4, 2011, please join us in a DG photo contest where you can enter photos, between now and March 15, of your non-native or invasive plants, birds, bugs and wildlife to help us spread awareness (and have some fun too).

On March 16, you'll get to vote on your favorite photos. The top three winners in each category get a prize!

I have an amazing collections of weed images...some of the prettiest plants are weeds...they are just....weeds

Did you know that kudzu has a beautiful purple flower that smells just like Grape Nehi soda?

We thought this would be a fun way to pass a couple of weeks while we're all anxiously waiting good weather. Most of us have had way more winter than we want and have a bit of Cabin Fever.
