Jackie - I am thinking I did indeed share some with you, but if not let me know!

Debra - If you don't have any of my hige seeds, let me know. :-)

Becky, I looked thru my 09 and 2010 sds from you but I don't see them. I don't want you to worry about them as you sent me so many even without those. Maybe when we trade again. :-)
This is one of my favorite MG's of all time. Pres Bush,

Debra. Hope you get to feeling better soon.

Jackie - Maybe I didn't send any to you because I think you may have said that your didn't need any I. purpurea seeds at the time. Yes, remind me in the future and I will send you some of the hige seeds. :-) Beautiful President Bush bloom! :-)

I planted several Moonvine seeds and looks like they are all germinating. Can't wait to see those vines and blooms! One of my favorite morning glory species!

Blue & pink and the light pink higes are growing up one side of the teepee posts.

The Higes are so showy Becky. No wonder they're so high on everyones wish list

Thank you, Jackie! I don't know if everyone likes the higes, but I sure do! :-) :-) :-)

Here is another volunteer that is somehow growing in the ground. I have weed screen down, so not sure how this baby managed to sprout! LOL! Those I. purpureas are so determined!!!

Not meaning to bore everyone with the same cultivars of blooms, but I really love this Pink Flaked hige cultivar! Lots of pink showing up in the blooms of this baby!!

Found a packet of 'Maisugata' bonus seeds I'd forgotten about from a few years back, so I started a few about 10 days ago. They seem content to peruse the MG forum with me, and even smile for a snapshot. LOL

Your higes are gorgeous, becky. Nice babies, there Nick.

Debra - Thanks!

Nick - Your Maisugata babies look great! You might want to consider separating them into their own individual pots at this time before the roots get much bigger. A single plant will give you a good sized vine and lots of blooms. Just a suggestion ...

Using a spoon to remove them one by one with as little as possible root disturbance is the way I usually separate mine. :-)

Debra – Thank you, too!

Becky – Nice hige blooms! I'll be transplanting those babies soon. I couldn't remember how old the seeds were, so I sowed heavily just in case... I see you have chicken wire around one of your pots. Is that for pest damage prevention? If so, what kind of critters do you have? I think we have more squirrels than humans living in our neighborhood!

Thanks, Nick!

The chicken wire is for both prevention of squirrels digging holes to bury the seeds and for my vines to climb. :-)
